Flying High in Gulf Shores

North Texas Adventure Ladies just got back from our annual adventure retreat and had a great time parasailing with Ike’s Parasailing.

We met at the office in Gulf Shores and walked across the street to the beach to check in.

The lady in the booth was super nice and got us checked in and let us put our things in the booth for safekeeping.

We headed down the beach to wait for the banana boat ride to the parasailing boat. That was almost as fun as the parasailing.🤩

Once we were all on the boat, the captain went over the rules and we were off. The music he played was perfect and made the trip out even more fun.

We were out for about an hour for us all to have our turn in the air. Each flight lasted about 5-10 minutes. It’s so quiet up there!

On the way back in, they lowered us to dip our feet in the water before gently pulling back onto the boat seated just the way we took off. No effort needed at all. So fun!

The only downside to the experience was that you are not allowed to bring phones on board. So, in order to have any photos you must purchase the $45 photo package. The guys that took the photos for us were in training and very few photos turned out. Most were dark and no zoom was used so you can’t see any faces. There were 9 of us and only a couple have photos. If photos are important to you this is definitely something to keep in mind.

But, the experience itself was fun and the staff was super friendly
