This trip is designed to provide a perfect balance of outdoor activities and downtime for personal exploration.
ItineraryNovember 1st: Arrival and Downtown Exploration
        Closest airport is McGhee and I will be waiting in a large van to take everyone to the lodge.Â
               We will coordinate flight times in our GroupMe Chat that I will set up July 1stÂ
- Arrival: Check into your cozy accommodation at the Glenstone Lodge in downtown Gatlinburg.Â
- Activity: Spend the afternoon and evening exploring downtown Gatlinburg. Visit local shops, attractions, and enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants.
November 2nd: Nature and Scenic Views
- Morning: Hike to Laurel Falls, a beautiful 80-foot waterfall accessed via a moderate 2.6-mile round trip trail.
- Afternoon: Visit Gatlinburg SkyLift Park. Ride the SkyLift, walk across the SkyBridge—the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America—and enjoy panoramic views from the SkyDeck.
- Evening: explore downtown or enjoy some downtime on your own.Â
November 3rd: Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail and Horseback Riding
- Morning: Drive the scenic Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail. This 5.5-mile loop offers lush forests, historic cabins, and short hikes to waterfalls.
- Afternoon: Experience horseback riding at Big Rock Dude Ranch at Ponderosa. Explore scenic trails and enjoy additional activities like gem mining and a petting zoo.
- Evening: explore downtown or enjoy some downtime on your own.Â
November 4th: Cades Cove and Anakeesta with Astra Lumina
- Morning: Explore Cades Cove, a picturesque valley featuring an 11-mile loop road perfect for wildlife viewing and exploring historic buildings. Optionally, hike to Abrams Falls.
- Afternoon and Evening: Visit Anakeesta. Ride the gondola to the summit, explore the treetop canopy walk, gardens, and adventure activities. Stay for Astra Lumina, an enchanting night walk through a luminous forest experience.
- Evening: explore downtown or enjoy some downtime on your own.Â
November 5th: Departure
- Morning: checkout is 11am and I will take everyone back to the airport.Â
